In designing the circuit and battery mount, Movcam aims at optimizing their functions.
One battery can supply power for both monitor and camera and offers two current options: 12V and 24V. In addition, more battery mounts can not only be able to provide power for big, power consuming cameras, but also be able to work as counterweight block if need be. The angle of the battery mount can be adjusted to achieve balance, too. For light camera, move the battery mount upward; if the camera is heavy, move the battery mount downward. Notice: when choose to use 24v, battery mount C must have a battery on it, plus either A or B mount.
When ideal static balance is achieved, the sled should hang perfectly upright and the camera stays level. Spin the sled gently to see if the sled could rotate steadily.
The static balance of the sled means three aspects: fore and aft balance, side to side balance and top-bottom balance. Before start adjusting, take precaution. Choose a stand that match the weight of the rig and put sand bags on the legs of the stand to prevent accidental tip-over.
